The First Romanian School Museum
The First Romanian School Museum in Brasov is an important historical site, representing one of the city's most valuable tourist attractions. The museum is located in a historic building that was the first Romanian school in Brasov and operated from 1583 to 1788.
The museum, which was inaugurated in 1951, houses an impressive collection includes manuscripts, paintings, historical furniture, and teaching instruments, among other important exhibits.
Among the most important exhibited objects are two old school manuals dating back to the 18th century. These are considered the oldest Romanian manuals in the world and are extremely valuable to Romanian cultural heritage.
