About Wow Brașov
Wow Brașov is a small, independent guide to Brașov and the mountains, castles and villages around it. We write the guides we would want to read before a trip: specific, current and honest.

Who we are
The site has published guides about Brașov since 2023. Our guides are available in English, Romanian, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, French and Hungarian.
Wow Brașov is edited by Diana, who was born and grew up in Brașov. She edits every guide on the site, in every language on the site, and took many of the photos you see in them (credited "Photo: Diana").
What we cover
Everything a visitor needs to plan a trip: getting here, getting around and when to go, things to do in the city, day trips to Bran, Peleș, Seven Ladders Canyon and beyond, and what's on through the year.
How we keep guides accurate
Prices, opening hours and timetables change. Each guide shows a key facts box with the date every fact was last checked and a link to the source we checked it against. When facts change, we update the guide and add a note to its "What changed" list. Our full approach is in the editorial policy.
How the site is funded
Wow Brașov shows ads from Google AdSense, and some guides include affiliate links: Trip.com for hotels, car hire and tours, Suntransfers for airport transfers and LOT Polish Airlines for flights. If you book through one, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Guides that contain affiliate links say so at the top. Advertisers and our affiliate partners don't choose or review what we write, and nobody pays to be featured in a guide.
