A Focus on Local Artisans

To further encourage traditional craftsmanship, applicants using manual techniques will receive additional points in the selection process. Vendors, craftsmen, and producers have until October 31 to submit their applications.
City's Commitment to Festivities
Despite potential financial constraints, the city is dedicated to maintaining its reputation as a top holiday destination. Deputy Mayor Dan Ghiță affirmed this commitment, stating, “Even with financial restrictions in place, we will not give up what made Brașov famous nationwide. We’ll make sure the city shines as one of the most beautifully decorated in Romania this holiday season.”
The festive lighting ceremony on November 30 will include the illumination of the central Christmas tree in Piața Sfatului, marking the official start of a magical holiday season in Brașov.
